The project in context

Explore the landscape. Understand the proposed design.

VizAR One premium feature

Real landscape. Project context.

Combine client project design assets with supplied or publicly available LiDAR to explore a location from human height and above.

Point cloud
ELVIS / Geoscience Australia; 1,513,426 RGB points. Original LAZ described as 13.6 MB. This package uses preprocessed binary points.
Project assets
Four imaginary tower positions and viewpoints derived from QGIS; 80 m double-circuit lattice model, scalable to 70 m and 60 m.
Surface
Ground mesh and colour texture derived from the scan; existing vegetation remains in the point cloud.
Easement
Illustrative 50 m corridor, 25 m either side of tower centreline; mitered joins and square ends at end towers.
Satellite context
Esri World Imagery; Esri, Vantor, Earthstar Geographics and the GIS User Community. Semi-transparent flat image outside the scan footprint; not an elevation surface. Aligned using the demo’s assumed EPSG:28355 CRS.
Reference system
Demo assumes GDA94 / MGA zone 55 (EPSG:28355). Scan metadata reports empty WKT. Vertical datum and coordinate transformations have not been independently verified.

Concept visualisation: conductor sag, insulators and the Construction Area and access spur are illustrative. Height changes scale the model and do not represent approved engineering alternatives.

For a client project

Supply LAZ/LAS or a prepared point cloud with CRS and vertical datum, design coordinates and asset models, approved viewpoints and camera heights, construction boundaries, and source licences. Confirm alignment against survey control before assessing visual impact.

Recreated from the supplied NSW Pointcloud Demo package. Source demo assembled in Claude; VizAR One prototype interface.
